WTF is going on the Queue system?

Post on Thursday, June 15, 2023 by test

7 months ago I showed how the server had 75 slots for non-paying users and the remaining 200 were for priority queue payers. Subsequently, it happened that the number of "non-paying" slots was changed (100 slots, 90 slots, ...) however hovering around a hundred slots. Today, after a long time since I haven't checked anymore, I waited for the server to restart to check what the "non paying - priority" allocation was. When the restart started, I was in the regular queue at position 224. When the server started up again a couple of minutes later, I only advanced to position 200. This would have meant that the non-paying slots were just ~25. I checked the screenshots of the users active in the server before and after the restart. (restart occurred at 18:00 UTC+0). If a user is active in the server both before and after the restart, it is certain that this user has the priority queue: if he didn't have one, he would have had to go back to the regular queue and wait even hours before being able to access again. Well, my count is 108 priority users out of 138 active users on the server! Also, although the server showed modest activity (fewer than 150 users on the server), a small number of users were still waiting in the priority queue. This leads to two conclusions: The number of slots for non-priority paying players is just 30. Users with priority still have to wait artificially for some time before joining the server, even if their slots are available. One question therefore remains, addressed to users with priority: how long are you waiting to enter the server?
